- High security measures in the workplace
- Is fearful, anxious, depressed, submissive, tense, or nervous/paranoid
- Avoids eye contact
- Lacks health care
- Appears malnourished or shows signs of abuse
- Has few possessions or lack of possession of their personal belongings
- Not knowing what city they are in, saying they are visiting, or not knowing/saying their address
- Has stories that contain many inconsistencies
